Find out what it takes to get back into good standing

A few quick questions, then we’ll connect you with an account executive for a free call.

Do you have any unfiled tax returns?
Do you owe the IRS, your state, or both?
Does any of this apply to you?
Roughly how much do you owe in total? (a rough estimate is fine)

Here’s the honest answer.

For balances under $10,000, full representation usually isn’t the most cost-effective path, you can often resolve this directly with the IRS yourself, for example through a short-term or streamlined installment agreement. We’d rather tell you that than take you on as a case that doesn’t need us.

If your situation is more complicated than the number suggests, unfiled returns, a levy, multiple years, give us a call and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s worth a closer look.

Sound familiar?

Falling behind happens. Staying behind doesn’t have to.

Back taxes & unfiled returns

Years behind? We help you get caught up and back into good standing without the panic, and without judgment about how you got here.

IRS notices & letters

CP14s, balance-due notices, certified mail you’re afraid to open. We translate what they actually mean and what to do next.

Mounting penalties & interest

Balances that keep growing the longer you wait. Getting compliant is what stops the escalation, and in some cases penalty relief may be possible.

Missing records & old W-2s

Don’t have the paperwork from years ago? We pull your IRS transcripts and reconstruct what’s needed to file correctly.

Wage garnishment

The IRS taking part of your paycheck? We move quickly to pursue a release and a better path.

Tax liens

A lien clouds your credit and your property. We work to resolve what’s underneath it.

How it works

From an eligibility check to a plan, in three steps.

  1. Eligibility check

Answer a few questions, then talk with an account executive about what’s going on. No judgment, no obligation.

  2. An Enrolled Agent reviews your case

We pull your IRS transcripts to see exactly what the IRS has on file, which years are missing, what you owe, and lay out the realistic path, in plain language.

  3. We get you current and represent you

We prepare the missing returns, handle the agency directly, and work your plan, so you can finally breathe.

IRS programs & eligibility

Named IRS programs, and the truth about who qualifies.

Every program below comes from the IRS’s own rules, not a generic promise. Your Enrolled Agent will tell you which ones your specific facts actually support, before you commit to anything.

  • Unfiled return catch-up Getting prior-year returns filed correctly is step one, it’s what makes you eligible for every program below, and it’s where we start.
  • Installment Agreement A structured monthly payment plan with the IRS, sized to what you can actually pay.
  • Penalty Abatement First-Time Abate or reasonable-cause relief from IRS penalties, if you qualify.
  • Currently Not Collectible status Pauses IRS collection if paying right now would create financial hardship.
  • Offer in Compromise An IRS program with strict financial qualification criteria. We evaluate whether your facts actually support one before you commit.
  • Innocent Spouse Relief Relief from a joint tax liability caused by a spouse or ex-spouse’s errors.

Questions people ask first

How many years of returns do I need to file?

It depends on your case, but as a general matter IRS policy typically looks for the last six years of filings to consider you compliant. Your Enrolled Agent pulls your IRS transcripts to see exactly which years the IRS is expecting, so you file what’s actually needed, no more, no less.

Will I get in trouble for coming forward?

Getting compliant is the path that stops things from escalating, the IRS’s collection process is built around non-response, and voluntarily catching up puts you back in control of the process. Everything you share with us is confidential, and we’ll walk you through exactly what to expect before anything is filed.

Do you handle state tax too, or just IRS?

Both. Whether it’s federal, state, or both, your case will be reviewed by an Enrolled Agent who can sort out where you stand and which programs apply.

How fast can you help if I’m being levied or garnished?

These are time-sensitive, so reach out right away, by phone is fastest. The sooner we’re involved, the more options there usually are.

The hardest part is starting. We'll handle the rest.
