Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 10, 2026 · Last updated: September 10, 2026
This policy explains what personal information El Dorado Tax Solutions LLC (“El Dorado Tax Solutions,” “we,” “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to this site and to the phone and text conversations that follow from an inquiry you submit here.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use this site, we may collect:
- Contact information — your name, phone number, and email address.
- Case-screening responses — the answers you give in the eligibility questionnaire, which include whether you have unfiled tax returns, whether you owe federal tax, state tax, or both, whether you are currently subject to a wage garnishment, bank levy, notice, or lien, and your approximate total balance owed.
- Anything you type into the free-text message field.
-
Technical and advertising identifiers — your IP address, an
approximate state-level location derived from that IP address, your browser user
agent, the page you landed on, the referring URL, the Google Click Identifier
(GCLID) and related advertising parameters (
wbraid, gbraid), UTM campaign parameters, and cookie identifiers set by us or by the analytics and advertising services named below. - Verification records — the fact that a one-time passcode was sent to and confirmed from your phone number, and the record of the consent language you agreed to and when.
- Site interaction data — how you use our pages, such as clicks, taps, scrolling, mouse movement, and which sections you view, collected through Microsoft Clarity. This may include session replays that reconstruct your visit so we can see where the site is confusing or not working. Text you type into form fields is masked and is not captured in these recordings.
We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, bank account numbers, or payment card details through this website. Do not put them in the message field. If we need that kind of information to represent you, we will collect it later through a secure channel, under a signed engagement.
How we collect it
- Directly from you — the web form on this site, and any phone call, text message, or email that follows.
- From advertising platforms — click identifiers appended to the link you arrived on, which tell us which ad and keyword brought you here.
- Automatically — cookies and similar technologies, analytics and advertising scripts (including session recording and heatmap tools), and standard web server logs.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and contact you about it.
- To evaluate your tax situation and tell you what resolution options, if any, you appear to qualify for.
- To deliver services if you choose to retain us.
- To confirm that a phone number is reachable and belongs to the person submitting the form, and to reduce fraudulent and automated submissions.
- To measure advertising performance — which campaigns and keywords produce genuine inquiries — and to improve this site.
- To meet our legal, regulatory, and professional obligations, including those that apply to us as federally licensed tax practitioners.
Telephone and SMS consent
This is the consent language shown on the form, reproduced word for word. The text you agreed to is stored with your inquiry record, so these two must not drift apart:
By submitting, you agree that El Dorado Tax Solutions may contact you at the number and email provided, including by phone call, text, and automated or prerecorded means, about your inquiry, even if your number is on a Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message & data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your case. In practice this is a small number of messages relating to your inquiry and, if you become a client, your active case — not a recurring marketing program.
How to opt out. Reply STOP to any text message from us to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (720) 826-6072. You can ask us to stop calling at any time by telling us on a call, or by emailing Info@eldoradotaxsolutions.com. Opting out of texts does not withdraw a request for service; tell us plainly if you want us to stop contacting you entirely.
Carriers. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Tax return information (Internal Revenue Code §7216)
As tax practitioners, we are subject to Internal Revenue Code §7216, which makes it a criminal offense to knowingly or recklessly disclose or use tax return information for any purpose other than preparing or assisting in preparing your return, except as permitted by law or authorized by you in writing.
We do not disclose or use your tax return information for marketing, advertising measurement, or any purpose beyond providing the tax services you engage us for, unless you first sign a separate written consent that meets the requirements of Treasury Regulation §301.7216-3. That consent is specific, is not bundled into this policy or into our engagement letter, and you are free to decline it. Declining does not affect the services we provide you.
The information you submit through this website before an engagement begins — your name, phone number, and questionnaire answers — is inquiry information, not tax return information within the meaning of §7216. Once we obtain your IRS transcripts or prepare a return, the §7216 protections above apply to that material.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for up to four years from your last contact with us, which covers the period in which a TCPA claim could be brought and lets us demonstrate the consent you gave. Client files, including tax return information, are kept for at least seven years after the engagement ends, consistent with our professional recordkeeping obligations. Advertising and analytics identifiers are retained according to the retention settings of the platforms named above, generally no more than 14 months. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed for these purposes, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Colorado privacy rights
We are based in Westminster, Colorado. Under the Colorado Privacy Act, Colorado residents have the right to:
- Access — confirm whether we process your personal data and get a copy of it.
- Correct — have inaccurate personal data corrected.
- Delete — have your personal data deleted.
- Data portability — receive your data in a portable, readily usable format, up to twice per year.
- Opt out — opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 45 days, and may extend once by another 45 days where reasonably necessary, telling you why. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
Appeals. If we decline your request, we will tell you why. You may appeal by replying to that decision or by emailing Info@eldoradotaxsolutions.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond to an appeal within 45 days. If we deny the appeal, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General at coag.gov.
California privacy rights
We advertise nationally, so California residents may reach this site. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; to request deletion; to request correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; to limit use of sensitive personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
In the last 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information listed under “Information we collect” above, for the purposes listed under “How we use it,” and disclosed them for business purposes to the categories of service providers listed under “Who we share it with.” We have not sold personal information for money.
You may make a request through the contact details below. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization.
Do not sell or share my personal information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money.
We do use Google advertising and analytics products that set cookies and receive identifiers to measure the performance of our ads. Some state privacy laws treat that kind of transfer as “sharing” for targeted advertising even when no money changes hands. To opt out:
- Email Info@eldoradotaxsolutions.com with “Do Not Sell or Share” in the subject line, or call (720) 826-6072.
- Enable a browser-based opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, which we honor as a valid opt-out request.
- Use Google's own controls at adssettings.google.com.
Opting out does not stop us from responding to an inquiry you submitted.
Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encryption in transit, access controls limiting staff access to those who need it, and phone verification on inbound inquiries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be described here. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
